Oxjam launches on Monday 1 October and to celebrate we’re giving you the chance to see top-secret, one-off gigs from amazing stars – and all in an Oxfam shop. Top secret location
From 1 to 4 October, Oxjam is taking over an Oxfam shop in a secret location in London. During the day, the shop will sell the best donated records and musical instruments from around London, plus special celebrity memorabilia from the likes of Elton John, Goldfrapp and Corinne Bailey Rae.
By night, the shop will be transformed into a gig venue, hosting intimate sets from top artists including Fatboy Slim, The Kooks, Jamelia, Hot Chip, Emmanuel Jal and many more, as well as guest DJ spots from Jarvis Cocker, Bobby Friction and others. They’ve got 50 pairs of tickets to give away for each of these once-in-a-lifetime gigs:
Mon 1 October:The Kooks acoustic set; Jarvis Cocker DJ set
Tue 2 October:Jamelia live set; Killa Kela
Wed 3 October:Hot Chip full live set; Bobby Friction DJ set
