The following is a list of events affecting Canadian television in 2024. Events listed include television show debuts, finales, cancellations, and channel launches, closures and rebrandings.

11 After over 13 years on the air, Groupe TVA's children's channel Yoopa ended operations. The channel was replaced with QUB, a TV broadcast version of Groupe TVA's QUB Radio.

February

8 CTV Television Network announces significant news cutbacks at its owned-and-operated stations, including the cancellation of all noon-hour and weekend local newscasts outside of a few major metropolitan markets. [1]

25 Amazon Prime Video announces it has reached a deal with the National Hockey League and Rogers Communications to exclusively carry national Monday night regular season NHL games (in English) during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. [2]
