I’m Dying inside…

      Hi All,

      Well, it had to happen sometime and unfortunately it’s happened to me. A few weeks ago my Girlfriend dropped my external Hard drive containing my entire life’s work of music… CD’s… Vinyl Rips… Downloads… Everything.

      It’s been sent to a specialist in Data Recovery but has been deemed irreparable and my 196GB library has been thrown into the wind…

      So, it’s with a heavy heart and and deperate tone of voice that I ask if anyone wants to open up their archives, libraries and vinyl/Digital shopping baskets and help me claw back some of my lost library, please, PLEASE do…

      I’ve had some DVDr’s sent by a few of the big boys, Norm is almost as heartbroken as me but whatever you guys can help me get back, I’ll forever be in your debt…

      I hope some people will take pity on me and help me out… :bye:

        Ouch.. :suicide:

        I could help with “only” a small part of your 196GB… some few tracks :glare: .. There are separate in 3 PC (one day i will have the same desaster as you.. :banghead: )

        I don’t remember if i sent you DVD’s by the past, i did so many things since.. :grandpa: (and maybe my dvd’s are unreadable.)

              Well I’ve been busy cobbling together my vast collection with the help of various people, massive thanks to Rory for the zip file you PM’d, much appreciated.

              I’m still not sure on everything I’ve lost but I will definately be needing the following, in as high quality as possible:

                  @lordraphael                   – Thank you for the offer but somebody else has sorted me out with that particular track.

                  Since writing this post I’ve toiled and strained to get everything back and, once the latest amazon order arrives next week I will be back to where I was before the crash. A lot of love and thanks goes out to everyone on this forum that helped me out, to Norm and various other ‘bigger boys’ that came to my aid in true heroic fashion…

                  If one thing is clear to me now, it’s that no matter what you hold dear, if you can help others get back what they’ve lost some times things work out in the end…
