The tracklist & notes by Darko :
Intro
01 Rockers Revenge – ‘Sunshine Party Time’
02 Mighty Dub Katz – ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ (Claude Von Stroke Remix)
03 The Black Ghosts – ‘Face’ (Switch Remix)
04 Ruffneck – ‘Everybody be Somebody’ (Possible Remix?)
05 Mighty Dub Katz – ‘Ghetto Girl’
06 Sol Brothers – ‘That Elvis Track’
07 Cheeky Boy – ‘Once in a Plastic Lifetime’
08 The Jimmy Castor Bunch – ‘Bang Bang’

The set is also littered with samples from past Southern Fried releases, namely ‘NYC Beat’ by Armand Van Helden, ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ by The Mighty Dub Katz, a lot of Studio-Applied FX such as ‘Jetting’ and ‘Flanger’ effects, plus a lot of re-sampling within the mix…

Note: I recorded it from the streaming so if someone have a better quality source (radio rip by example) don’t hesitate to contact me :) / By the way, the BBC Radio 1 tracklist need to be corrected, we’ll see that later..

Millions thanks to CraigK for mailing me this info.. ;)

  1. very nice mix – very oldskool too!

thx Francis for the awesome update! :-)

  2. Hello mate,

Great set, I’ll put the hours in on the tracklist asap though I think the ‘Experts’ @ The BBC need to pull their socks up and start getting their tracklists accurate, 90% of them are wrong…

Still, give me £60,000 a year and I’ll sit in a dark studio and write them for you!…lol

What I also find amusing is that they actually cock the tracklisting up live on air…seriously boys? What’s that about??…

So, Radio 1, where my contract at??

    lol
